PURPOSE:To attain temperature compensation over a wide temperature range by converting an output voltage of a temperature sensor into a nonlinear voltage and adding a current in response to the nonlinear voltage to a PIN diode variable attenuator. CONSTITUTION:An output voltage of the temperature sensor 1 is fed to an inverse logarithmic converting circuit comprising a diode 3 and an inverting amplifier 4 via an inverting amplifier 2. Thus, a linear output voltage from the sensor 1 is converted into a nonlinear voltage. The nonlinear voltage is converted into a current by a voltage/current converting circuit 5 and the current is given to the PIN diode variable attenuator 6. Thus, the relation between the output voltage of the sensor 1 and the attenuation of the variable attenuator 6 is made linear. Thus, the temperature compensation over a wide temperature range is attained. |
