PURPOSE:To enhance dispersibility, to eliminate scattering of triboelectrifiability, and to improve delicacy and fineness of image quality and reproducibility of gradation by incorporating a binder resin and a black pigment composed of activated carbon. CONSTITUTION:The toner having a particle diameter of 5-25mum is obtained by mixing a binder resin, such as a vinyl resin, polyester, or epoxy resin, with a black pigment of carbon black, such as coconut husk black or charcoal, preferably, having a particle diameter of <=about 5mum, and in an amt. of 1-20wt%, preferably, 5-15wt% of the binder resin, to obtain a sufficiently uniform mixture, then kneading it, after cooling, finely pulverizing it with a jet pulverizer or the like, and classifying it. |
