PURPOSE:To enable the continuous oscillation for a long time by avoiding a decrease of the laser beam output due to contamination of a window by moving the semitransparent window for extracting the laser beam. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam generated in a laser oscillation tube 1 passes through a semitransparent window 2 into pressure adjusting chamber 7 and is emitted to the right outside further through a transparent window 5. At this time, the part of semitransparent window 2 irradiated with the laser beam is provided with a gear 11, a window frame 9, and a drive motor 6 for moving the semitransparent window 2, etc. at proper time because a large quantity of impure gas molecules are adsorbed by photoelectric reaction, etc. and it prevents the emission of laser beam. The semitransparent window 2 is supported by the gear 11 at three or four points and one of them is connected to the drive motor 6 to rotate it. Accordingly, even if a part of the semitransparent window 2 which is in the optical path of laser beam is contaminated, it is rotated at proper time and the laser output can be obtained effectively. |
