PURPOSE:To prevent a creepage by providing a leaf spring piece formed with a plurality of cutouts at the peripheral edge of a washer, engaging the spring piece with the bottom of a bearing housing and pressing the end of a shaft, thereby applying a suitable prepressure to the bearing. CONSTITUTION:Radial cutouts are formed at the peripheral edge of a washer, and cutouts are further formed circumferentially from the inner end to form a plurality of leaf spring pieces 8, and the pieces are slacked at axial one side to from a leaf spring 7 having elasticity. A projection 11b is formed at least one position on the bottom of a bearing housing 11a for containing a bearing. The end of the piece 8 is engaged with the projection 11b, contacted with the bearing end at the upper surface 9 of the leaf spring to apply a pressing force to the shaft. Thus, the reliability of a rotary electric machine is enhanced, and the quality stability of assembling work can be also performed. |
