PURPOSE:To achieve reliable supporting/securing easily by forming a supporting pin for color selection electrode of cathode ray tube through integration of ceramic body to be jointed to the front panel and a metal body to be welded to a spring fixed to the color selection electrode. CONSTITUTION:The supporting pin 1 for supporting/securing a color selection electrode 10 to the inner face of the panel 15 in cathode ray tube is made into mesa type and formed with underside ceramic body 2 and a metal body 3 to be jointed onto it. Here, the recess 2A in the ceramic body 2 such as forsterite is fitted with the projections 3A on the metal body 3 such as 18Cr-Fe then secured through silver wax. Then the ceramic body 2 is thermally fused to the panel 15 through crystal solder glass 16 while the spring 14 of color selection electrode 10 is welded through laser to the metal body 14. Consequently, the pin 1 can be secured accurately to the panel while secured rigidly with the electrode 10. |
