PURPOSE:To perform development efficiently and automatically by carrying out development by a spray of water, water removal, and drying while conveying a screen plate on a belt conveyer at a horizontal attitude. CONSTITUTION:An endless belt 4 is extended between conveyer wheels 2 and 3 provided at both end parts of a machine frame 1 to form the belt conveyer 5. An undeveloped screen is spread on a screen plate frame 20 and placed on the belt conveyer 5 from a loading part 11, and then the screen plate frame 20 is conveyed as shown by an arrow. The plate is developed uniformly with water sprayed from a nozzle 22 at a spry developing part 13 firstly and the water is removed by a dehydrater 25 at a dehydration part 15 after plate is passed through an air knife 24. Further, the plate is passed through an air knife 26 again, dried by a drier blower 27 and an infrared-ray heater at a drying part 17, and discharged 18. Consequently, the development is carried out continuously and efficiently. |
