PURPOSE:To improve working performance and reduce the circuit impedance by installing a conductor which contacts with a workpiece onto an electrode supporting head through a buffer apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 1 is fixed onto an electrode installation plate 4 at the top edge of a spindle 3, and the working gap is following-maintained to a constant value by servo-feeding the spindle 3. The head 5 of the apparatus is fixedly set by the vertical movement to a prescribed position by a manual feed or fast feed motor at the beginning of the working. The electric conduction to a workpiece 2 is carried-out by attaching a conduction element 7 onto the upper surface of the workpiece 2 by the lowering of the head 5 after prepara tory work. Since, as for said conduction element 7, a supporting member 6 is elastically pressed by the spring 10 of a buffer apparatus, and springly contact is generated, stable electric conduction is performed certainly by a nearly con stant contact pressure. |
