PURPOSE:To obtain a resin compsn. having improved thermal stability during melting and good moldability, by blending a potassium titanate fiber having a specified free potassium content with an arom. polysulfone. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. consists of 30-95wt% arom. polysulfone and 70-5wt% potassium titanate fiber having a free potassium content of 0.1-0.255. The arom. polysulones having a structure of formula I, II or III are preferred, because they have well-balanced properties between physical properties and processability. The potassium titanate fiber is a kind of whisker and those having an average fiber length of 5-150mu and an average fiber diameter of 0.05-2.0mu are suitable. Optionally, antioxidant, thermal stabilizer, ultraviolet absorber, lubricant, parting agent, colorant, flame-retardant aid, antistatic agent, etc. may be added in quantities which do not damage the properties of the compsn.
