PURPOSE:To enable a simplified production system to be employed permitting the space for installation to be reduced by connecting carriers which are arranged on each of numbers of production lines, with a common driving source through a clutch means. CONSTITUTION:In a conveyor system for a production line where an article conveying carrier 6 is moving along each of production lines between working stages 1 and 2 where a continuous work process is effected on each of numbers of production lines A-C. Carriers 6 arranged on each of the production lines are driven by a common driving source 9. And the driving force is transmitted through a driving force transmission means 7 which is arranged on each of carriers. Simultaneously, a clutch means 8 allows each of the driving force transmission means 7 to be selectively connected to the common driving source 9. This configuration enables a simplified production system to be employed permitting the space for installation to be reduced.
