<p>PURPOSE:To enable a cargo to be positively transferred by making use of an empty shelf when cargoes of low priority stored in a high priority shipping zone are exchanged with cargoes of high priority stored in zones other than the high priority shipping one. CONSTITUTION:In a receiving and shipping method for an automatic storing warehouse where a cargo, which is located between each of shelves of a three dimensional shelf 1 and a receiving-shipping table 2, is received in or shipped out by means of a stacker crane 5, at least one empty shelf is arranged out of the three dimensional shelf, and a group of storing shelves close to the receiving-shipping table 2 is assigned as a high priority shipping zone 9. When cargoes of low priority stored in the high priority shipping zone 9 are exchanged with cargoes of high priority stored in zones other than the high priority shipping one 9, the above mentioned empty shelf is used as a transition room. This enables the cargo to be positively transferred allowing efficiency to be improved.</p> |
