PURPOSE:To prevent rapid increase in the pressure of a gas near the end of a compression side stroke and secure said stroke by separately providing an air chamber with a constant volume which is connected to an air chamber with a variable volume at all times, apart from a hollow rod which is inserted in a cylinder and which has said air chamber with a variable volume which is partitioned from an oil chamber. CONSTITUTION:In the captioned device 1, a cylinder 2 having an oil chamber 3, and a hollow rod 12 which is inserted into the cylinder 2 are provided. And, an oil chamber 26 which is connected to the oil chamber 3 and a first air chamber 27 with a variable volume which is partitioned from the oil chamber 26 are provided inside the hollow rod 12. A sub-chamber 51 is installed alongside an actuator 50 consisting of the cylinder 2 and the hollow rod 12. And, a second air chamber 65 with a constant volume is formed between a partition plat 56 provided on the middle part in the axial direction of an outer cylinder 52 which forms the sub-chamber 51, and the end member 15 on the top end of the hollow rod 12. This second air chamber 65 is connected to the first air chamber 27 at all times via a gas flow passage 67 formed in the end member 15. |
