PURPOSE:Laver sheets which have been cut in prescribed sizes are sent out of the stocker one by one on the conveyor and a water applicator and a hot press are used to bond the front edge of a laver sheet to the back edge of the preceeding sheet to form a continuous sheet of laver. CONSTITUTION:At the station 5 provided with a sucking means, laver sheets stacked in the stocker 1 are sent out of the bottom opening 3 of the stocker 1 one by one by sucking onto the endless conveyor 4. The water applicator 7 is synchronized with the intermittent feeder 6 to moisten the back edge surface of a laver sheet and the hot press 8 presses the top edge onto the back edge of the preceeding laver sheet 2 to effect bonding. Thus, the laver sheets are automatically bonded into a continuous sheet, before it is fed to the step of making a laver-roll SUSHI. |
