PURPOSE:To make an automobile approachable safely to a specified distance from an obstacle, by judging of whether the automobile reaches to the preset distance from the obstacle or not by what the composite picture made by each output image signal out of two cameras comes to natural or not. CONSTITUTION:Two cameras 104A and 104B are set up in a rear part of a passenger car body at an interval, and a horizontal synchronous signal 2CP, which redoubles a horizontal synchronous signal CP to be secured by a synchronous signal generating circuit 304 by a driving circuit 302, is impressed on the camera 104A. On the other hand, a horizontal synchronous signal 2CP', which delays the signal CP as long as H/2 by a delay circuit 305 and redoubles it by a driving circuit 303, is impressed on the camera 104B. And, each image signal made by each of these cameras 104A and 104B is inputted into a display unit 306 via a composite circuit 307, displaying each image output of these cameras 104A and 104B in a range of (1) and (2), and a moment when a composite image comes to a natural state is judged as a distance of up to an obstacle becomes constant. |
