PURPOSE:To reduce manufacturing hours and costs by blanking a pipe using an electronic computer and an automatic drafting machine. CONSTITUTION:The computer calculates the cyclotomy number for a pipe and the developed length of pipes 1 and 2 when the respective diameters D1, D2 and respective thicknesses T1, T2 of the pipes 1 and 2 are inputted into the computer. The initial setting of drafting is performed and the automatic drafting machine starts drafting. The machine drafts the inside and outside development drawings and the press working lines for the pipes 1 and 2. The drawings are attached on a thin plate and the thin plate is cut according to the lines shown by the drawings. Marking-off on a steel plate is performed by attaching the cut thin plates on the steel plate and the steel plate is cut. The cut steel plate is pressed along the press working lines and the pipes 1 and 2 are welded to form a T-shaped pipe.
