PURPOSE:To facilitate the easy visual recognition of the quantity of a tape wound by putting a transparent separate sheet containing the fine powder of tin oxide or the transparent fine powder processed with the surface treatment with tin oxide between a magnetic tape and the inner wall of a case for hub and magnetic tape cartridge main body. CONSTITUTION:A transparent sheet base material is used and a coating material containing the powder of tin oxide or the transparent fine powder processed with the surface treatment with tin oxide is top-coated at least to the contact side of said transparent sheet base material between the hub set into a case for magnetic tape cartridge main body and the edge of a magnetic tape taken up to the hub. Otherwise said tin oxide powder or transparent fine powder is packed into a separate sheet. This suppresses effectively the noises of electro static charge produced in a record/reproduction mode or the unmatched wind of the tape. Furthermore the inside of the tape cartridge can be viewed well through a large transparent window 2 provided at the center of the main body case owing to the transparent sheet base material. This ensures the easy visual recognition of the quantity of the tape wound.
