PURPOSE:To improve an engine brake effect ever so high, by calculating a tilt angle between optional two driving spots, while comparing it with the preset reference tilt angle and, when the calculated tilt angle is larger than the reference tilt angle, making a controller output a down-shift control signal. CONSTITUTION:In case of an inclined ground driving controller provided with a constant-speed driving controller A, there is provided with a first operator 6 which inputs a speed signal out of a car speed sensor 1 and detects the time required for driving the setting distance. Also, there is provided with a height detector 7 which detects an atmospheric pressure differential with downward height variations between both first and second driving spots at the time of running downhill, and according to this time signal and the downward height signal, a tilt angle of the driving ground is calculated with a second operator 8. And, this tilt angle is compared with the reference tilt angle set by a angle setter 9 by a comparing device 10, and when the former is larger than the latter, a down-shift control signal is made to be outputted out of a down-shift control device 11 whereby a driving transmission 12 is shifted to the low speed side. |
