发明名称 DYNAMIC BURN-IN METHOD FOR MICROPROCESSOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To increase an overall range of actuation of a microprocessor without using a test pattern generator of a large scale, by executing the instructions corresponding to the contents of available contents respectively. CONSTITUTION:When the code of the data fetched in a test mode is equal to a jump instruction, the contents of a program counter 12 are changed forcibly. In such a case, the next cycle starts at the changed contents of the counter 12. Thus it is possible to use the contents of the counter 12 in place of the pattern data needed for dynamic burn-in in a test mode. The contents of the counter 12 are increased for each instruction cycle. Then this increased contents are supplied again as an instruction. Thus the types of instructions can be greatly increased.
