PURPOSE:To improve the reliability as a space device by coating the surface of an inter-connector for connecting many solar battery cells of an insulating film, thereby preventing an arc discharge from generating between the connector and a cover member. CONSTITUTION:Solar battery cells 3 are formed by bonding many through an adhesive 6 on a substrate 5, and electrically connected in series or in parallel by inter-connectors 4. A transparent cover glass 7 is bonded by a transparent adhesive 8 on the cells 3 to prevent the cells 3 from deteriorating due to the radiation in a space. The surfaces of the connectors 4 are coated with an insulating film 21 to form a potential barrier for suppressing the emission of electrons on the surface of the connectors 4 even if the electric field intensity of the connectors 4 increases due to the high voltage of the solar battery array. |
