PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a microcomputer and to facilitate dynamic drive control by providing input/output ports, memory means and a counter which designates the addresses of said memory means on a semiconductor chip. CONSTITUTION:Input/output ports PA0-PC0 and PA1-PC1, command registers Cont0 and Cont1 which define the inputs and outputs of those ports and memory parts RAM0-0-RAM0-63...RAM7-0 are formed on the same semiconductor chip. These memory parts store data and also transfers the data selectively to those input/output ports by the commands supplied to the registers Cont0 and Cont1.
