PURPOSE:To obtain a sufficient luminous intensity even with a small sized device by applying display to a space between keys and lighting the display while leading the rays of light from a light source with an optical guide. CONSTITUTION:A dial frame 1 has a display section 1a between insertion holes 3 of a key 2 and is provided with a display 4 corresponding to an individual function of the key 2. An optical guide plate 11 is provided in contact with the lower part of a flexible printed board 8, has a hole 13 mounting a light source 12 and has a taper 14 whose thickness is made thin as it is parted from the light source 12. The rays of light from the light source 12 are reflected on the taper 14 and since the board 8, the connection section 6 and the frame 1 have transparency, the rays of light pass through them, the display 4 is subjected to fatial illumination from the lower part to emphasize a character.
