PURPOSE:To produce easily solid carbon dioxide in a consumption site and to enable it to be taken out by using a lever having a recess and a stopping bar and fixing tightly a frame body and a cover to constitute a production chamber. CONSTITUTION:A production chamber is constituted by fixing tightly both a frame body 4 which is constituted of a material low in the thermal conductivity and excellent in the resistance to low temp. and a freely attachable and detachable cover 12 with a lever 31 having a recess 32 and a freely rotary stopping bar 33. Liquid CO2 is injected to the inside of the production chamber via a nozzle 7 from a high-pressure vessel housed with liquid CO2 and decompressed to expand it adiabatically and a mixture of the snowy solid CO2 and gaseous CO2 is produced in the inside of the production chamber. Thereafter only the gas is flown out to the outside of the production chamber and solid CO2 is compressed and molded and a product of the produced solid CO2 is taken out by opening a door 21. |
