PURPOSE:To reduce wear due to friction between respective members of gears, housing, etc. contacting each other and moving relatively to each other by combining the component materials such that synthetic resins having different hardness slide on each other. CONSTITUTION:Members of a housing 12, supports 26, 33, rotary shafts 34, 37 pinion gears 35, 74, a worm gear 46, etc. of an optical axis adjusting unit 1 for head lamps of an automobile contact each other and move relatively to each other. The component materials of these members are selected such that synthetic resins having different hardness slide on each other. Thus, since a frictional force of the slide surface is absorbed elastically by the synthetic resin having lower hardness, the degree of wear can be remarkably reduced. |
