<p>PURPOSE:To enable wearing to be reduced in an interposer and tapered rings, by bringing the interposer into surface contact with the tapered rings and elimi nating the concentration of a load due to a point contact. CONSTITUTION:A mutually opposed surface of each tapered ring 14, 15 is formed in a tapered surface conforming to a tapered surface 17 in both sides of an interposer 16. An excessive load acts on an output member 5 for some reason, and if an obstacle is generated in a rotation, a torque releaser, extruding balls 9 fitted to a recessed hole 10 of a flange 3 from the recessed hole 10 via a ball guide groove, retracts said ball with a sliding plate 11. Here the releaser, pressing inward the periphery of the interposer 16 by an internal periph eral surface rear end of the sliding plate 11, spreads a part between the front and the rear tapered rings 14, 15 by the interposer 16. Accordingly, the torque releaser, eliminating the concentration of load due to a point contact, reduces wearing in the interposer and the tapered rings.</p> |
