PURPOSE:To provide an economical and pollution-free water producing device by turning sea water or saline water into fresh water by using the solar energy stored in the salt-containing solar cell using salt as heat source, and using the high concentration brine produced during the process to replenish the solar cell with salt. CONSTITUTION:The high temperature water that has stored the solar energy in the bottom layer of the solar reservoir 1 is pumped out by a pump 2 to be supplied to the water producing device 31 to heat and vaporize sea water etc. Then, it passes through the tank 4 or its bypass A to return to the solar reservoir 1 by way of a return pipe B. The concentrated sea water etc. is discharged as brine, but part or all of it is stored in the vaporizing reservoir 5 adjacent to the solar reservoir 1. The vaporizing reservoir 5 is small reservoir for pre-processing or adjustment for supplying salt to the solar reservoir 1, and the brine for the water producing device 3 is further vaporized and concentrated spontaneously in said vaporizing reservoir 5. The brine which has been concentrated to a desired concentration is supplied to the tank 4 if there is a need for further concentration adjustment etc., or directly to the return pipe B if there is not such need to replenish salt that has been lost in the solar reservoir 1. |
