PURPOSE:To prevent changes in the indication due to variations in other loads with a simple construction when the earth of a sensor drifts, by checking current flowing to a cross coil type gauge with a diode through the sensor from a load. CONSTITUTION:With an ignition switch S5 ON, power is supplied to a cross coil type gauge 1 from a battery Ba and the residue of fuel in a fuel tank is indicated responding to the resistance value of a sensor R2. A load 6 is connected in parallel with the switch S5 and hence, operates irrelevant to the turning ON or OFF of the switch S5. At this point, the load 6 and the sensor R2 has a common earth and current tends to be supplied to the gauge 1 through the sensor R2 with an earth drift resistance R3 of the sensor R2. But it is checked with a diode 8 thereby eliminating disindication of the gauge 1.
