PURPOSE:To provide a control unit of an air conditioner enabling the combined use of a remote control switch and a timer by such a procedure that the remote control switch stores an operation starting/stopping signal from a timer while the remote control switch sets 'a simultaneous operation/stop mode' of the air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:In a case where a first switch 10 of the remote control switch is ON, control means 4a, 4b... do not accepts inputs from drive switches 5a, 5b... but accepts ON/OFF of a second switch 11, thus operating or stopping air conditioner units 8a, 8b.... Upon this occasion, since the first switch 10 is ON, the input level of memory means 13a, 13b... to control terminals becomes low, and an analog switch becomes non-conductive. Signals from timers 7a, 7b... are not transmitted to control means 4a, 4b... but are not input before the first switch 10 is turned OFF (the remote simultaneous operation is released) through analog switches which are memory means 13a, 13b.... Hence, the timer operation is started from this time point.
