PURPOSE:To obtain the titled bundled yarn capable of being woven without twisting and requiring sizing, by combining multifilament consisting essentially of PET with polyester binder filaments and fusing partially the multifilament by heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:A polyester consisting essentially of polyethylene terephthalate, having >=240 deg.C melting point and a polyester binder having 100-220 deg.C softening point are spun with a spinning nozzle for combined filament yarn, cooled by the cooler 3 and bundled by the yarn guide 4. The yarn is sent through the bundling guide 6, provided with stretch between the unhot rollers 7 and the hot rollers 8, made uniform, drawn between the rollers 8 and the hot Nelson rollers 9, and heat treated. The heat-treatment temperature is >= the softening point of the binder filament, and <=the melting point of the multiple filament and the multiple filament is partially fused.
