PURPOSE:To prevent the variation in a reagent blank value and the deterioration of reagent activity by the change of an unstable liquid reagent such as an oxygen reagent with the elapse of time, by performing the preparation of the liquid reagent in a reagent distribution process. CONSTITUTION:A distribution reagent is separated into liquid reagents 18, 19 and these reagents are separately prepared to be received in separate containers 16, 17. A distribution nozzle 2 is inserted in the reagent container 16 and a predetermined amount of the liquid reagent 18 is sucked in a reagent distribution flow channel 1 by moving the piston 10' of a metering pump 10. The rotor 14 of a flow channel change-over valve 7 is rotated so as to slightly shift the communication of the flow channel to move the distribution nozzle 2 upwardly and the leading end part of the nozzle 2 is immersed in a washing tank and a rotor 14 is returned to the original position to connect connection passages 8, 9 while the distribution nozzle 2 is inserted in the reagent container 17 and a predetermined amount of the liquid reagent 19 is sucked in a reagent distribution flow channel 11. The distribution nozzle 2 is moved to successively distribute the liquid reagent 19 in reaction tubes 20, 20', 20'' and, subsequently, the liquid reagent 18 is successively distributed to the reaction tubes. |
