PURPOSE:To enable rapid development, to attain high color developability and to obtain a light resistant color image with no magenta stain by incorporating a specified compound into a green-sensitive layer and a precursor of a color developing agent into at least one of photographic constituent layers. CONSTITUTION:Blue-, green- and red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers and other hydrophilic colloidal layers are formed on a support to obtain a color photographic sensitive material. At this time, a compound represented by the formula (where X is halogen or a univalent org. group which can be eliminated by coupling with the oxidized product of a developing agent, each of R1-R3 is H, halogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, aryl or the like, at least two among R1-R3 are not H, and R4 is H, alkyl, aryl, a heterocyclic group or the like) is incorporated into the green-sensitive layer, and a precursor of a color developing agent is incorporated into at least one of the photographic constituent layers. Thus, rapid development is enabled, the raw stock preservability can be improved, high color developability is attained, and magenta stain can be perfectly prevented. |
