PURPOSE:The top layer of a fabric base material is laminated, on its back surface, with three layers of a polymer containing a specific amount of inorganic fillers to give tile carpets which give good feeling, when they are stepped on, show good application, high flexibility and good fitness to the floor. CONSTITUTION:The top layer 1 of woven, knitted or non-woven fabric, which is preferably composed of the pile layer 1a and the base cloth 1b, is laminated, on its back surface, with the first polymer layer 2 which is composed of a matrix of a flexible polymer such as a polyvinyl chloride resin and less than 300wt%, based on the matrix, of an inorganic filler such as mica or calcium silicate, the second polymore layer 3 which is composed of the same matrix as in the first layer and more than 300wt%, based on the matrix, of the inorganic filler, and the third layer 6, between the first and the second layers, which is composed of the same matrix and 0-50wt%, based on the matrix, of the inorganic filler so that the total weight of the backing layers becomes in the range from 3-5kg/m<2> to increase the fitness to the floor.
