The improved heat exchanger comprises, in addition to the components described in the main patent, at least one closing device 70 associated with at least one of the conduits for the entry 5 or discharge of the coolant air. The closing device 70 consists of a cover 45 of a shape and size corresponding to those of the internal passage of the conduit 5, which has a bearing part at its periphery, in order to apply the cover 45 onto a closure surface of the conduit 5, through the intermediacy of a seal. Guidance means 52 and moving means allow the device to be moved between a closure position 70 and an opening position 70'. The exchanger may comprise a closure device both in the entry conduit 5 and in the air discharge conduit, where it serves as an antirain device. <IMAGE>
