PURPOSE:To obtain a yarn having highly aligned fiber directions and high strength, by using a suction port to form an air stream flowing opposite to the yarn-drawing direction and placing the port on the extension of the yarn- forming line on the twisting roller. CONSTITUTION:A wedge space R is subjected to the air stream flowing opposite to the yarn-drawing direction separately from the main suction air stream from the suction port 5a of the suction pipe 5. The opposite air stream is formed by the suction port 27 acting as an assistant air stream suction port and placed on the extension of the yarn-forming line on the table 1, i.e. the extension of the surface of the porous roller 13 corresponding to the suction port 5a. The opened fibers discharged from the outlet 16a of the fiber-feeding channel 16 are aligned along the axial direction (yarn-drawing direction) of the porous roller 13 just before the adsorption to the surface of the porous roller 13, and at the same time, a force opposite to the yarn-drawing direction is applied to the fiber during the twisting of the fiber into the yarn. |
