PURPOSE:To obtain block and pin samples with one time of sampling by provid ing a sprue to the side wall of a long cylindrical paper tube and arranging successively a sprue chamber communicating with said sprue, block sample chamber and pin sample chamber thereto. CONSTITUTION:The sprue 2 bored to the side wall at the top end of the long cylindrical paper tube 1 is opened into the sprue chamber 3 and a block sample vessel 4 forms the blockl sample chamber 5 having a slight taper in the axial direction. A pin sample vessel 6 forms the pin sample chamber 7. The annular recesses or projections 8 perpendicular to the inside circumferential surface of the chamber 7 are provided to the chamber 7 in order to provide the blocks which can divide the drawn pin sample to a prescribed weight (equal weight). The chamber 3 and both sample vessels 4, 6 are coaxially communicated and disposed in this order. The division of the sample vessels 4, 6 is made easy by providing a recess 10 to the end face of the vessel 4 at the juncture between both chambers 5, 7. The drawing of the block sample and pin sample which are heretofore drawn by separate sampling is thus made possible by one time of sampling.
