PURPOSE:To stack and store speedily sheet materials after image formation almost at a specific position on a tray by providing an air suction port to a flank of an image forming device body below a discharging means and above a fitting part for the tray. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet material S after image formation is discharged from the discharging means 15, an air layer 22 is formed between the sheet material S and tray 16 or a sheet material S which is already stacked on the tray 16. A discharge fan 20, however, operates in synchronism with the discharging operation of the discharging means 15 to suck the air forming the air layer 22 through an air intake 17 and discharge it to the outside, so the air layer 22 is eliminated. Consequently, the sheet material S discharged from the discharging means 15 is stacked and stored almost at the specific position on the tray 16 speedily without any harmful delay operation due to the cushion operation of the air layer 22, conveying operation perpendicular to the discharge direction of the sheet material S, etc. |
