PURPOSE:To constitute the titled mechanism simply and to adjust the tensile force thereof easily by utilizing the frictional force in the paper feed mechanism so as to roll paper at any time in case the mechanism is asynchronous and the loosening of the paper takes place. CONSTITUTION:A pressing roller 16 by its own weight of which a rotation axis is supported freely rotatably and movably almost in a vertical direction only by its own weight and a driving roller 15 of which the position of the rotation axis is fixed provided almost vertically below the roller 16 so as to check the movement of the roller 16 downward and driven with the prescribed number of rotations by a driving source are provided. Then, recording paper is held between these two rollers and fed by the frictional force generated by the own weight of the roller 16 between the face of the roller 15 and the recording paper. Then, the frictional force for feeding the paper can be adjusted freely by changing the own weight of the roller 16.
