PURPOSE:To know the peeling in a short time and to decide its depth by strik ing the wall surface, detecting the magnitude of struck sound in time-series waveform and the repulsive force from the wall and comparing them with the reference value for decision. CONSTITUTION:A striking sound receiving part 1 is hung from the wall surface A by a suspending part 2. The wall surface A is struck with a striking hammer 11, the striking sound is received by a sound receiver 13 and te repulsive force is detected by a load sensor 12 attached to the hammer 11. The receiving part 11 is pressed onto the wall surface A by a propeller 14. A strike position sensor 21 is attached to the suspension part 2. In a peeling state analyzer 3, strike sound signals are introduced into the analyzer 33, the magnitude of the chrono- logical waveform is compared with the reference value to detect the peeling, the repulsive force signals are introduced for comparison with the reference value and the depth of the peeled part is discriminated. The peel position is detected by a strike position measuring device 32. Since both the strike sound and the repulsive force are detected, the peeled state can be learned accurately and reliably.
