PURPOSE:To facilitate accurate measurement of temperature distribution in a heating furnace by providing a fixture enabling a thermometer to be horizon tally moved, a graduated plate for reading the end position of the thermometer and a supporting device for vertically or circumferentially moving the fixture. CONSTITUTION:A lift 2 causes a suspension fitting 4 of the thermometer 3 to be supported by a supporting device 21, and drives a driving shaft automati cally or with a handle 211 while rotating it with rotating means. The thermome ter 3 is moved horizontally along a groove of a mounting plate 63 of the fitting 6 to learn the position from the center of the furnace. A drive means 214 of the supporting device 21 is driven to rotate a shaft 40 and the fitting 6 so that the thermometer 3 is also rotated in the circumferential position thereof to permit to grasp the circumferential position in the furnace of the heating furnace 1. An upper plate of the graduated plate 53 is slid to provide an aperture through which the thermometer 3 can descend and the supporting device 21 is lowered to enable the depth in the furnace of the thermometer 3 and espe cially its end part by an index 23. |
