For the positively locking connection of a welded grid-type mat to another structural part, an anchor plate (PL), which engages with a small amount of play between two neighbouring wires (L) of one group of wires of the mat and engages over two neighbouring wires (Q) of the other group of wires, is arranged on one side of the central plane of the grid-type mat and, analogously in the same grid mesh, a second anchor plate (PQ) is arranged on the other side of the central plane of the grid-type mat, between the two neighbouring wires (Q) of the other group of wires of the mat. A clamping screw is guided through holes (O) which pass through the two anchor plates (PL, PQ) and, for connecting the grid-type mat to the other structural part (e.g. L1, Q1), use is made either of this clamping screw or a butt-strap-type elongation of one of the anchor plates. <IMAGE>
