The feeler (4) is supported on the probe housing (1) via a plurality, e.g. six, rods (8) which are partly inclined relative to one another and whose ends are inserted in each case in notches on the feeler (3/4) or on the housing (1), from which they can disengage upon deflection of the feeler. Returning the rods (8) is served by tension springs (9) which are placed around the rods and connect the corresponding bearing elements (6 or 7) of the rod ends (11) to one another in pairs on the feeler (3/4) or on the housing (1). <IMAGE>
