A filter arrangement for supplying clean rooms with directed dust-free air in a laminar flow by means of a filter (2) is described. Located in the filter are inserts, for example light sources, which prevent a uniform laminar flow, or objects, e.g. light sources (3), which impair a laminar flow are arranged behind the filter in the direction of air flow. Provided in the direction of air flow behind the filter and the light sources is an optically transparent grid (5) for producing a laminar air flow, which grid spans the entire cross-section of the flow path. Arranged between the filter, on the one hand, and the light sources and the grid, on the other hand, there is preferably a flexible hose (8) for airtight guidance of the air flow, which permits positioning of the grid and thus of the exit opening for the laminar air flow as near as possible to the respective working region. <IMAGE>
