A description is given of a noise-damping laminate, comprising a base layer and an open-pore intermediate foam layer, which is provided with a thin liquid-impermeable top layer, the laminate being provided on the top-layer side with a grid work of intersecting beads and the foam being compacted essentially pore-free in the region of the bead base. This achieves the effect that, if the top layer is damaged, the possible ingress of liquid is restricted to one grid zone.
