PURPOSE:To obtain boiled octopus arms which are boiled almost in a straight state, have easy slicing operation, are capable of mechanizing slicing operation, and are, usable to its tip part, by skewering octopus arms separated from their bodies to make them almost straight, and boiling them. CONSTITUTION:Octopus arms separated from their bodies are skewered (skewers preferably of iron having improved thermal conductivity are used), made into an almost straight state and boiled to give octopus arms boiled in an almost straight state. EFFECT:When skewers having improved thermal conductivity are used, boiling time is shortened and taste is also improved. |
