PURPOSE:To tightly fix a roll shaft to a tubular body even under the condition that heat shrinkage at high temperature is required by a method wherein the peripheral surface of the roll shaft and non-woven cloth and the surface of the non-woven cloth and the inner peripheral surface of a rigid tubular body are respectively bonded to each other by thermosetting resin adhesive. CONSTITUTION:Non-woven cloth 4 is stuck to the surface of a roll shaft 1 by thermosetting resin adhesive 3 applied onto the peripheral surface of the roll shaft 1 and, after that, bonded by hardening the thermosetting resin adhesive 3. Next, the resultant roll shaft 1, on the surface of the non-woven cloth 4 stuck to which thermosetting resin adhesive 5 is applied, is inserted in a rigid tubular body 2 and, after that, fixed to the rigid tubular body 2 by hardening the thermosetting resin adhesive 5. Thus, due to the existence of the non-woven cloth as the bonding interposition, the roll shaft and the rigid tubular body are strongly bonded. The resultant roll is suitable for the roll in various facilities, because its rotation is also smooth. |
