A releasable pipe connection configured as a plug-in connector exhibits a clamping sleeve into which the pipe, to be connected to the pipe connection, is introduced. Longitudinal slots are made in said clamping sleeve, which slots permit a constriction of the clamping-sleeve inner end. At the inner end of the clamping sleeve there is integrally formed a radially outwardly extending widened portion, the external diameter of which is greater than the smallest diameter of an opposite clamping surface on the connection body, with the result that the clamping sleeve is held securely within the connection body. The outer end of the clamping sleeve is located outside of the connection body and widens radially outwards. In order to release the pipe from the connection body, an adjustment of said clamping-sleeve outer end takes place. In order to fix it within the connection body, constriction of the connection-body outer end takes place by means of a suitable tool.
