PURPOSE:To prevent one-sided wear and improve stability in driving by strengthening the acute angle corner side of a side wall facing the cross-sectional direction groove of a block on the both side areas of a tread, more than the obtuse angle side, in a high-performance radial tire used in a severe condition. CONSTITUTION:An oblique angle alpha of a side wall 5 facing the cross-sectional direction groove 3 of the acute angle corner part 4a of each of blocks in the both side areas 1a of a tread, to the normal B of the tire tread in the position of the side wall, is gradually and continuously reduced to 20 deg.-5 deg. toward and obtuse angle corner part 4b. Thereby, the side wall of the acute angle corner part 4a of the block 4 can be reinforced. And, thus, by improving the rigidity of the acute angle corner part, the one-sided wear of tire can be prevented while stability in driving can be improved. |
