A method of manufacture of moquette and of carpet, of the type comprising a first stage consisting of implanting a plurality of threads or bunches of fibres (12) on the right side of a support cloth (14), followed by a stage of coating and of vulcanisation, characterised in that, after the stage of implantation and before the stage of coating and of vulcanisation, regular impacts are made exclusively on the back of the support cloth (14), and throughout its width, by means of a beating device (18) which is provided with beating members (24) and which is placed directly upstream of a thermal stabilisation chamber (20) within which the support cloth is submitted to a phenomenon of vibrations introduced by the shock waves engendered by the beating. |
