PURPOSE:To enable support of a massive load produced by a building, by a method wherein lattice-shaped partition walls are formed to the interior of the peripheral wall of an underground building serving as the underground foundation of a heavy building, and a reinforcing column is previously buried in the intersection part of the partition walls. CONSTITUTION:The underground foundation structure of a heavy building 20, such as elevated bridges, has a peripheral wall 10 having an oblong closed cross section. A number of partition walls 12, which have both ends securely attached to a peripheral wall in a manner to be extended right angles with the peripheral wall 10 and partition the interior of the peripheral wall in the shape of a lattice, are formed to the interior of the peripheral wall 10. A reinforcing column 14, formed with a steel pile, a concrete pile, a steel pipe, etc., is previously buried in the intersection part of the partition walls 12. This reinforces the partition wall, and enables support of the massive load produced by a building. |
