PURPOSE:To obtain the titled polymer having excellent heat-resistant adhesivity, abrasion-resistance, heat-resistance, etc., and suitable as an electrical insulation material, etc., by the polycondensation of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid (or its reactive acid derivative) with a specific aromatic amine and diaminosiloxane. CONSTITUTION:The objective polymer can be produced by the polycondensation of (A) an aromatic dicarboxylic acid (or its reactive acid derivative) with (B) the aromatic diamine of formula I (R1, R2, R3 and R4 are H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or halogen; R5 and R6 are H, lower alkyl, trifluoromethyl or trichloromethyl) and (C) the diaminosiloxane of formula II (R7 is bivalent hydrocarbon group; R8 is univalent hydrocarbon group; m is integer of >=1).
