PURPOSE:To decrease the transfer overhead of a write data to a storage section by designing the titled device that the storage section transfers serially a data to a write data register of the storage section in time division even when the storage section is during execution of read. CONSTITUTION:A write request (WREQ) is held in a request control section 4 until the read request (RREQ) is finished and when the RREQ is finished, an operation signal group MT is issued to a storage element group 9 to execute the write operation. Although the read is during execution when a write data is transferred attended with the WREQ, the control section 4 generates a write data transfer command to a write data transfer control section 6. Then a write data register set signal is issued four times to write serially a write data WD one by one bank in total 4 banks in time division and transfer the result to a data register 10 (WR0-3). That is, the transfer of serial write data required for the write at the next cycle and requiring comparatively time is finished.
