PURPOSE:To miniaturize and simplify a tuner device and to attain a structure withstanding shock and vibration by forming a tuner support of a tuner with a high polymer substance having a large thermal expansion coefficient and a small dielectric constant and applying plating to the entire surface. CONSTITUTION:The tuner device 4a consists of a tuner support 41 whose one terminal is fixed to a through hole provided to a guide wall of a waveguide, a tuner rod 42a fitted to the tuner support 41a and a nut 43a to fix the tuner rod 42a and the oscillated frequency is controlled by adjusting the inserted amount of the tuner rod 42a into the resonator 1. The tuner support 41a uses an acetal homopolymer or copolymer having a large linear expansion coefficient and a small dielectric constant as a base and the entire surface is plated. Since the linear expansion coefficient is larger than a conventional value as nearly 3-4 times, it is possible to decrease the length of the tuner support 41a to 1/3 or below the conventional length. Even when the tuner rod 42a is made of a dielectric such as alumina, the frequency fluctuation is compensated sufficiently and contactless structure is attained.
